• PR and offline promotions – Managed our internal communications. Worked with an agency for all external activity. Organised promo teams in multiple locations as well as radio advertising and event sponsorship
• Digital marketing campaigns and promotions – Drove registrations and pushed business categories using SEM, SEO, social media and digital marketing campaigns
• Creative services and design – Briefed all campaigns to our main design agency and managed freelancers
• Print – Negotiated contra-deals across DMGT as well as paid-for outdoor advertising, leaflets and door-drops
• CRM marketing – SMS & email campaigns to all B2C registered users and B2B business directory customers
• Team management – I managed 3 direct reports – a Social Media Manager, Promotions Executive and Email Marketing Executive and presented to sales teams around the country
Key Achievements:
• Promoted within 6 months to manager
• Drove 37% increase in site registrations and 15% increase in social media traffic referrals
• Launched Digital Response – created the brand, guidelines, new website, blog, newsletter, ads, sponsored events and exhibitions. Activity generated 200 leads per month for our sales team
• Ran the Localpeople ‘Local Legend’ campaign across 21 locations which involved organising promo teams and phot-shoots, vox-pops, radio and outdoor advertising. We had 256 nominations, over 10,000 votes and 44% traffic peak as well as increased brand awareness
